I want to say to Tara and Kristy. I am so sorry to hear of your mums passing. 25 years ago she spent so much time with us visiting my Aunt Margaret (Graham) in hospital. Your mum is at Peace now 🙏🙏

When I first moved into our village, Gwen left a posy of flowers on my windowsill with a little welcome to the village note. Dear Gwen will be much missed, and always remembered for her warmth, kindness and her lovely smile. God Bless and Farewell, dear friend.

I heard the voice of Jesus say
"Come unto Me, and rest
Lay down, thou weary one, lay down
Thy head upon My breast"
I came to Jesus as I was
Weary and worn and sad
I found in Him a resting place
And He has made me glad
The tune from the "Star of the County Down" is often used for this hymn. Well Gwen, for us you were the Star of Antrim, impossible to hear the word "Ballymena" without picturing your smiling face.
May the Lord have Mercy on your Soul and may you Rest in Peace, along with all those who went before you and loved you dearly. XX
